Get more exercise
Both aerobic and muscle strengthening exercises are important for adults. Men should get at least 2 to 3 hours of aerobic exercise such as walking or jogging each week. Don’t try to do everything at once and start slow if you don’t already exercise regularly.
Eat a healthy diet
A big concern for men in the United States is salt intake. Not only should you eat healthier foods such as fruits and vegetables, but reducing the amount of salt on your food can decrease the risk of issues related to high blood pressure.
Speaking of blood pressure, the pressures of work and home life, as well as the drive to succeed, can lead to stress related illnesses. These can be prevented by paying special attention to your stress levels and seek help when needed.
